As parts of California look like a war zone because of the devastating wildfire, Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, has been rescheduled. Originally slated for release on January 15, the series will now premiere on March 4. The decision to postpone the release was made out of respect for those affected by the ongoing disaster.
According to New York Times report, she asked the streaming service to push back the release of her new series, “With Love, Meghan,” which pays tribute to the beauty of Southern California.
According to a report published in The Independent, The US state has been devastated by wildfires over the past week, described by California governor Gavin Newsom as the worst natural disaster in the country’s history “in terms of the scale and scope”.
More than 12,000 homes have been destroyed in the blazes, with more than 150,000 people evacuated from their residences and at least 16 people confirmed to have died.

With Love, Meghan is hosted and produced by Meghan, who cooks, gardens and landscapes with different guests in “a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California. Basically the show talks about her life in California.
According to a report published in New York Times, Meghan requested the show’s release be pushed to March 4 because of “the ongoing devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires.”
Meghan said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Meghan said in a statement.
