British royal family news shows that former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham thinks her husband David Beckham is making himself the main character in a bid to garner a knighthood from the British monarchy.

Posh is said to think that Davis bending “over backward” for the privilege of being made a knight. It’s not like he’s not the most famous soccer star the UK has ever known

According to RadarOnline.com David’s beckoning is so obvious that the Spice Girl is cringing at his tactics to get into the King Charles’ good graces.

One source claims that Victoria has “begged him to tone down his royal praisings. She knows he’s open to backlash if he’s seen to be ‘sucking up.’”

In January David was honored with a Crystal Award for his charity work as a Goodwill Ambassador. He took that opportunity to pledge his devotion to the monarchy: “Whenever the Prince of Wales sends me a message and says, ‘I need you to do this’ or ‘be there’, it’s always a ‘yes.’”

He added “I always get emotional talking about anything that I do with our royal family, because I’ve always been a huge royalist. I was brought up in a household that adored and loved everything that came with the royal family.”

David turns 50 on May 2 and some think that he would love a knighthood as a birthday present.

PR expert Mark Borkowski said of David’s actions: “Beckham isn’t merely in the ‘good books,’ he’s practically penning a chapter. His unwavering loyalty, conveniently broadcast at a global stage, is an unmistakable nudge to the Establishment. A knighthood would cement his legacy not just as an icon of sport, but as a true bastion of Britishness.”

In what David called “altered” 2017 emails he used some unflattering language to rant about the year’s New Year’s Honors list, which he was left off. The leaked emails saw him allegedly refer to the committee as “unappreciative c–ts” and state “It’s a disgrace to be honest, and if I was American I would of got something like this 10 years ago.”

It’s been reported that ever since then the power couple have been diligent in their efforts to look better in the monarchy’s eyes. This includes an alleged distancing from the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful.

For example, last June David was appointed ambassador for The King’s Foundation, and in December he attended his first state banquet at Buckingham Palace. But when the 2024 New Year Honors list was revealed, David was not on it.

Apparently David’s flattery included telling a crowd that his mom, Sandra West, “burst into tears” upon hearing of his ambassadorship.
