British royal family news reveals that it was four years ago that Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful sat down with Oprah Winfrey to make history by trashing the royal family.

The circus act was in town in Montecito and Oprah was the open-mouthed ringleader. That interview was filled with lies, innuendo, and inconsistencies.

It foreshadowed four years of vile insults and acts they would go on to commit against their families, and it was the first time the public got to see Meghan relegate Harry to a pitiful second banana. Harry hasn’t been Markled yet, but Meghan’s made him the spare in his own marriage. Here are three outrageous lies Hank and Skank told a believing Ozemprah.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Met Oprah
The couple vowed to tell the truth about their miserable lives as royals and royal pundit Robert Hardman called the interview “the most astonishing unburdening of family secrets since the late Princess of Wales sat down with the BBC’s Martin Bashir in 1995” (for the record, Meghan copied the raccoon eyes).

Along the way the couple alleged that his family talked about “how dark Prince Archie’s skin might be” and “Meghan accused Catherine, Princess of Wales, of making her cry … just days before her wedding.”

The venom and mistruths were so bad that Queen Elizabeth issued saying “recollections may vary.”

Harry and Meghan’s Oprah Lies
At one point Harry and Meghan claimed they were secretly married before their wedding at St. George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018.

Meghan inelegantly said “Three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that but we called the Archbishop and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world but we want our union [to be] between us.”‘

Afterward the Archbishop of Canterbury called the claim a lie.

Meghan Didn’t Google Harry?
In the Oprah interview Meghan also claimed that “I’d never looked up my husband online. I just didn’t feel a need to because everything that I needed to know, he was sharing with me, right? Everything that he thought I needed to know, he was telling me.” Right.

Dimwit Harry doubled down on this lie in his memoir Spare. Too bad their hand-picked biographers, Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, called out this lie in Finding Freedom.

They said of Harry and Meghan’s first date at Dean Street Townhouse in 2016: “Naturally both participants in this blind date did their homework with a thorough Google search.”

Meghan told Oprah that she is an only child which was news to her sister Samantha Markle and brother Thomas Markle Jr. She then contradicted herself by saying she hadn’t seen Samantha in nearly 20 years.
