Some of Prince Harry’s visa documents will be made public, it has been revealed.
Prince Harry will face a major turn of events with his ongoing US visa row as lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have agreed to release some of the documentation.
As reported by the Daily Mail, lawyers for the DHS have said that three items can be unsealed with redactions. This will, as the biggest insight into the row, show whether the Duke of Sussex lied about his drug use.
However, no information from a fourth document can be made public without releasing information a judge has ruled should stay private.
This decision comes after, several weeks ago, Judge Carl Nichols told a hearing in Washington DC that he wanted “maximum disclosure as long as it doesn’t violate privacy
He set a date of February 20 for the US government to state which legal documents related to the case can be disclosed
In his memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex had admitted to past drug use, sparking the ongoing row about his US visa.
