For the 2026 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift’s new album will not qualify, meaning she was not nominated in any category, news that sent her millions of devoted fans into an online frenzy.
So far, Swift has won 14 Grammy Awards throughout her career, but she was absent from the list of nominees announced on Friday, November 7.

Albums eligible for consideration must have been released between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025. Since Swift’s latest record debuted on October 3, it officially falls outside that window, automatically disqualifying it from this year’s competition.
She also did not submit a music video, single, or any production prior to the deadline, leaving her without any eligible material for nomination.The Grammy ceremony will take place on February 1, 2026, and for Swifties, the announcement was a devastating blow.
