Royal family live updates: Kate Middleton’s new hair sends fans into a frenzy……Read More
Royal watchers haven’t stopped admiring the black-and-white portrait of Kate Middleton that husband Prince William shared for her 43rd birthday last week, and they’re fixated on one aspect in particular: the princess’ hair.
In the shot, she’s wearing her chocolate-colored locks down, with a deep side-part and flowing waves. It’s not a far departure from her signature “Chelsea blow dry,” which first launched a global sensation in her 2010 engagement photos — but in the recent pic her hair does appear longer than we’ve seen it in awhile.
Kate Middleton new hair” was a trending Google search Monday, so the people have noticed.
Pro hairstylist Tom Pike confirmed to Hello! magazine that Kate has changed up her look, saying she’s “upgraded the style known as the ‘Hollywood wave,’ ” and shared tips on how to recreate it:
“You would use either a smoothing cream or a nice blow dry spray,” Pike told the mag. “Blow dry your hair smooth, then using a large barrel wand, twist the hair round the tool, taking slightly thicker sections as you work. Once this is done, gently brush it out.”
King Charles is deeply saddened by his nonexistent relationship with his estranged son Prince Harry’s children, according to a royal expert.
After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal life and moved to the US in 2020, the duo became estranged from the royal family almost instantly.
As a result, the monarch, 76, now “hardly knows” his grandkids Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
“It must remain a great sadness to the king to be so distant from his two US-based grandchildren — he hardly knows them and there’s no prospect of that changing anytime soon,” royal commentator Jennie Bond told the Mirror.
“The early years in a child’s life are so magical — and once they’re gone, they’re gone. I hope the king doesn’t dwell on his loss too much, but it must hurt.”
While Charles has met Archie a handful of times, he has only met Lilibet once during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.
