Prince Harry’s relationship with many in the Royal Family are still believed to be strained, with the Duke of Sussex only making short visits back to the UK.
Princess Kate is reportedly “on a mission” to mend the rift between Prince Harry and King Charles following years of family disputes, an insider has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex’s relationship with his family has been strained for some time, with tensions escalating after he made several shocking claims about the royals in his 2023 memoir, Spare.
However, following the Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis earlier this year, it’s said that she is keen to bring an end to the feud.
It’s thought that her recent experiences have given her a “new perspective on everything”, making her acutely aware of the fleeting nature of time.
The source told Life & Style: “Kate wants the family to reconcile. With the King’s health continuing to decline, there’s only so much time for that to happen. Kate is on a mission to bring Harry home.”
The insider suggested that Kate is no longer “waiting around for things to happen”, having realised that life is “too precious”.
They said Kate has already reached out to her brother-in-law, who they described as “receptive.” The source added: “The main objective of her plan is for Harry to return to Britain and make amends with Charles
Royal expert Katie Nicholl also noted that while Kate is open to a reconciliation, her husband Prince William isn’t quite on the same page.
On The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, Nicholl hinted the Prince of Wales remains “very angry” with his brother following a series of accusations made by Harry against William and Kate in his memoir.
In the book, Harry detailed a heated argument with William, during which he alleges his brother referred to Meghan Markle as “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive
Harry also claims that William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.”
