Prince Louis’s Nicknames for Kate Middleton’s Parents Were Revealed in a Secret Note….See More
He wrote them a sweet message during his mom’s Christmas concert.
Prince Louis is giving thanks to his grandparents this Christmas. On Friday, the 6-year-old royal wrote a sweet note to Kate Middleton’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, during the fourth annual “Together at Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey—and inadvertently, his adorable nicknames for them were revealed.
Joined by his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Louis hung his handwritten letter on the “Kindness Tree” outside, which read: “Thank you to Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me.” The message appeared to be dedicated to Princess Kate’s parents in particular, as she previously released a video in honor of her chemotherapy completion showing Carole and Michael playing card games with the entire Wales family.
According to sources, the Princess of Wales’s parents have been very supportive of both their daughter and their grandchildren amid her cancer battle. Not only did Carole accompany Kate on school drop-offs, but the Middletons often had George, Louis, and Charlotte over for sleepovers while Kate was recovering.
This is about supporting her and her feeling supported. It is a joint effort. She doesn’t feel isolated at all,” a family friend previously told People, while another Palace insider added, “Her parents are an enduring factor in the upbringing of their grandchildren.”
Yesterday’s holiday celebration marked the first time Kate and William stepped out with their three children since the Trooping of Colour ceremony in June. For the occasion, the couple matched with their kids in color-coordinated holiday outfits, with Kate leading the pack in a candy-cane red Alexander McQueen coat. Charlotte took a style cue from her mom and wore darker version of Kate’s coat with a velvet collar, while the boys opted for crimson-colored ties with their navy suits.
