Prince Harry row turns explosive as Carole Malone skewers ‘hateful’ Jeremy Vine caller…See More

Express columnist Carole Malone skewered a “hateful” Jeremy Vine caller as they got in an explosive row about Prince Harry.
Express columnist Carole Malone got into a furious row with a “hateful” Jeremy Vine caller as they hit out at her live on the Channel 5 show.
It comes after Prince Harry settled his privacy intrusion lawsuit against News Group Newspapers (NGN) just as the trial was set to begin in the High Court. He has received an apology from NGN “for the phone hacking, surveillance and misuse of private information by journalists and private investigators instructed by them” at The Sun.
As Jeremy Vine broke the news on his Channel 5 show, he took a call from Theresa in Derbyshire, who had some furious words for Carole Marlowe.
When asked what she thought of Harry’s decision, Theresa said: “I think he should fight on, but the real reason why I’m calling is because we have the worst example of the press on your show regularly, which is Carole Malone,” as the TV star laughed and replied: “Thank you!”
Vine asked on what basis she had made her comments, to which Theresa sniped: “I tuned in this morning and I’ve always liked, well I did like your programme, but I tune in regularly and see Carole Malone shouting and talking over people with hate-filled, right wing views.”
Vine asked on what basis she had made her comments, to which Theresa sniped: “I tuned in this morning and I’ve always liked, well I did like your programme, but I tune in regularly and see Carole Malone shouting and talking over people with hate-filled, right wing views.”
Malone asked: “What did I say about Harry that was wrong today?” to which the caller replied: “Everything you say Carole I find offensive.”
An umimpressed Vine quickly intervened and said: “You’ve come to Carole with a particular point of view because you say right wing as if that’s a bad thing, that’s just Carole, she wakes up right wing,” as Carole agreed.
Theresa continued: “I wish Harry did have the money to continue to fight the press, because people don’t have the money…” Carole quickly chimed in: “That is simply not true.”
The caller insisted: “It is true, it is owned by people with bags and bags of money spreading their hatred, and you are a prime example.”
Clearly having enough, Carole said: “If anyone is hate-filled Theresa, it is you, not me. My views are my views, I’m not trashing your views, I’m asking you to explain to me what I said that was hateful about Harry today.
