Royal expert sheds light on why it’s difficult for the Duke of Sussex to be forgiven by King Charles and Prince William
Prince Harry will not be “easily forgiven” by his father, King Charles!
In a recent interview with The Sun, an acclaimed royal photographer Arthur Edwards shared his stance on the Duke of Sussex’s shocking past and current claims about the Royal Family just to get some profit.
The duke stepped down from his position as a senior working royal along with his actress wife Meghan Markle shortly after his marriage, however, he did not stop just at resigning from his duties, but also made it his aim to tarnish the image of his family.
“There was no need,” said Edwards about Prince Harry’s actions to ruin his family’s image, adding, “Ever since he left this country the split became so huge between the royal family here, us, the media and him.
The father-of-two, who released his memoir Spare last year, made several shocking claims against King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other royal family members, which added more to the rift between them.
Speaking up about why it won’t be easy for the duke to be forgiven, Arthur Edwards stated, “Mainly because he just rubbished the royal family. You can’t rubbish the King’s wife Camilla and expect to be easily forgiven. You can’t rubbish William’s wife and be easily forgiven.”
In the memoir, Harry alleged how after having a heated argument with Meghan Markle, Prince William knocked him to the floor and ripped his necklace.
He also reflected on how he begged the British monarch not to marry his now step-mother, Queen Camilla, whom he described as “wicked stepmother” in the book.
After all these allegations and accusations, and with years of estrangement between the Sussexes and the other Royals, it indeed seems like Prince Harry would need to make extra efforts if he ever wants to join back the Royal Family.
