Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may face huge financial crisis in 2025…. Check In
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s financial stability could be at risk when their Netflix deal expires in 2025. They need their separate projects, including Meghan’s upcoming cookery show, to succeed. Their financial situation has been precarious since losing their Spotify deal, raising concerns about sustaining their lifestyle and future endeavors.
A royal commentator has sounded the alarm that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will suffer severe financial setbacks when their Netflix deal expires in 2025. The couple signed an £80 million deal with the streaming service in 2020 after they stepped down from royal duties, and they have delivered four projects to date: ‘POLO’, ‘Heart Of Invictus’, ‘Live to Lead’, and the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan
However, with their contract renewal looming, experts warn that their financial future could be at risk.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams emphasised the importance of the upcoming renewal of their Netflix contract, describing it as “absolutely pivotal” for the Sussexes’ financial stability. Speaking to GB News, Fitzwilliams stated that the strategy of working on separate projects by the couple has been effective so far, but they need to ensure that Meghan’s cookery show works out.
He mentioned, “Their separation of work is being tried out, and it worked perfectly well in the sense there have been no glitches. What they need is her cookery series for Netflix”
Fitzwilliams also added that the couple’s financial situation has become precarious since they lost their Spotify deal earlier this year. He said, “They lost Spotify a while ago, and it doesn’t seem there is anything substantial financially that we know of that is coming up”.
This lack of substantial income raises questions about their ability to sustain their lifestyle and support their various projects.
Meghan Markle is going to launch her cooking show in 2025 and is going to focus on themes such as cooking, gardening, and entertaining. This project is considered quite vital for the financial future of this couple. Apart from her cooking show, Meghan is also working on her lifestyle brand, ‘American Riviera Orchard’, which she first teased in March, but it is still in the development phase due to multiple delays.
Fitzwilliams thinks that such productions could really increase Meghan’s earnings much more than her occasional appearnances elsewhere.
While the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’ was an apparent success and attracted significant attention, their latest shows did not. The newest Netflix project, ‘POLO’, did not gain much popularity, and Fitzwilliams said, “I don’t think anyone was expecting that to have huge ratings”.
