New Update: Chiefs Owner’s Wife Sends Blunt Message to Patrick Mahomes After Losing MVP to Josh Allen….See More

On Thursday night, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was voted the NFL’s most valuable player – winning the award for the first time in his career.
“Terry and Kim Pegula, Brandon Beane, Sean McDermott, thank you guys for drafting me seven and a half years ago,” Allen said. “It feels just like yesterday, it really does. I know this is an individual award and it says Most Valuable Player on it, but I think it’s derived from team success, and I love my team…we got such a great locker room in Buffalo, and it takes everybody.”

Allen won the award over Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley – among others.
Listed in the “others” category is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is a two-time winner of the award. Mahomes received three 3rd place votes, eight 4th place votes and five 5th place votes for MVP, as noted by a Chiefs reporter.
That posted was highlighted by Tavia Hunt, the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, who offered a message to the team’s star quarterback.
This is our MVP!! Block out the noise and do what you do,” she told Mahomes.
What Mahomes does is win Super Bowls – unless he’s playing against future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady. He’s 3-1 in Super Bowl appearances and has a chance to help the Chiefs make NFL history as the only franchise to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
Super Bowl LIX between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday night.
