Meghan McCain slams her The View replacement, Republican panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin over Tulsi Gabbard criticism….See More

Griffin took over the show’s conservative seat after McCain left the program — and slammed many of its cohosts — in 2021.
Meghan McCain — conservative commentator and former The View cohost who has regularly stated in the past that she has no desire to discuss The View — has once again slammed The View and one of its stars.
The 40-year-old daughter of the late John McCain (and the unofficial Princess of Arizona) shared Monday on X a blunt criticism for former Donald Trump associate, current Republican View cohost, and McCain’s replacement in the program’s conservative seat, Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Griffin, who worked for Trump’s White House communications team, recently posted a condemnation of “serious Republicans” who “supported Tulsi Gabbard for [the Office of the Director of National Intelligence].” McCain, a longtime friend of Gabbard’s, quote-tweeted Griffin’s initial message, writing, “How anyone thinks you represent any Republican woman in America is beyond me.”
McCain has criticized Gabbard in the past, though she’s recently come around to supporting the controversial politician — particularly amid Trump nominating her for the position of Director of National Intelligence
Do you want a little juicy gossip, since it’s just us in there? They were so scared of her,” McCain told the crowd of her ex-coworkers. “Tulsi and I were just starting to become friends,” McCain continued. “I remember being like, I’m really going to have to do defense for this woman here because they’re going to be so mean to her. You can look it up, it was like vultures. We really bonded afterward, but you took Joy [Behar] to task so hard that her husband took a picture of me, and I’m literally like [screaming] afterward.”
McCain left The View in 2021, following a series of high-profile clashes with the likes of Behar and moderator Whoopi Goldberg. She has since regularly spoken out against the talk show, including in December 2023, when McCain interpreted one of Republican panelist Ana Navarro’s on-air comments about past cohosts influence-peddling on their famous last names as a dig at her.
Other entities that have drawn McCain’s ire since she left The View include Meghan Markle, Bradley Cooper’s 2023 movie Maestro, Ye, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, and Drew Barrymore, among others.
