Just In: Meghan Markle shares cryptic message as she breaks silence on brand crisis….. Check In

Meghan Markle has shared a glimpse of her mood-board on Instagram after she was slammed for using a ‘complete copy’ of a town’s coat of arms with her new logo
Meghan Markle has finally spoken out in a new social media update following the controversy surrounding her latest brand name and emblem.
On Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex revealed a glimpse into her thought process with a mood board displaying motivational phrases, delicious recipes and a charming drawing featuring herself and Prince Harry. She captioned the post, “From memory lane to the memories I’m making today..”
Amid the critique aimed at her newly announced brand name As Ever, Meghan posted a collage that acts as a teaser for her forthcoming raspberry jam, hinting at what fans can anticipate from her new lifestyle project. The vision board also features a playful homage to her now-inactive blog The Tig, showcasing a pinned recipe for her famed Tig Cup alongside images of beautifully arranged breakfast creations, like happy-face pancakes.
Overflowing with inspiring quotes, one particularly poignant card on her board reads, “You cannot make everybody happy you are not a tub of Nutella.” Another suggests, “Stay close to people who feel like sunshine.” A third entertainingly states, “I love you with all my butt. I would say heart, but my butt is bigger.”
The mood-board reveals a hand-made green star with Prince Archie’s name on it, likely a charming creation by the five-year-old. There’s also a beautiful drawing of Harry and Meghan embracing as they walk their cherished rescue dog Guy, who sadly died earlier this year.
This follows Meghan’s recent update on her newly-launched Instagram page, where she disclosed that she’s dropping the American Riviera Orchard brand in favor of a new name – As Ever. However, the rebranding has stirred up controversy due to its new logo, which is displayed on the As Ever website alongside a photo of Meghan with her three year old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The logo includes a palm tree, seemingly a tribute to Harry and Meghan’s Californian home, along with two hummingbirds, believed to be a favorite of the Duke of Sussex. Yet, outrage has erupted as the Mayoress of Porreres, a municipality on the Spanish island of Majorca, alleges that the branding bears an uncanny resemblance to their coat of arms. Escalating Meghan’s branding woes, the town’s mayor, Xisca Mora, has even claimed that the logo is a “complete copy.”
Mayoress Ms Mora said the town is not in a position to sue for plagiarism, but they are demanding the removal of the logo. The Mirror US has learned that Meghan’s team conducted “comprehensive” global searches of registered trademarks as part of the logo creation process.
Ms Mora explained to Vanitatis, “To sue for plagiarism is complicated and costly, and a small town council like ours is not in a position to fight against the English crown. Initially, we took it lightly because we didn’t really comprehend where it had come from and what their objective was in copying our coat of arms.” In addition, the mayoress highlighted another similarity – Meghan’s brand is known to be offering jam, a product also popular in the town.
