Meghan Markle announced her dog has died in an emotional video tribute this week – and now fans are convinced there’s an adorable detail in the clip.
Meghan Markle posted a heartfelt video on social media this week, which fans believe may include a glimpse of Princess Lilibet’s voice.
The Duchess of Sussex shared the sad news on Instagram that her cherished dog, Guy, has passed away. Meghan, 43, frequently posted pictures of Guy, making it clear how much he meant to her before she temporarily withdrew from social media following her marriage to Prince Harry.
Alongside her lengthy tribute, Meghan shared a video featuring snippets of Guy’s life, including a clip of him running on a beach with Harry calling out to him.
There are also clips where children’s voices – thought to be their kids, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, – can be heard, although no faces are shown. However, it was the final clip in the video that touched fans’ hearts.
As the text “In loving memory of Guy” appears over the end of the beach clip, Meghan can be heard singing a sweet song to her beloved pet – and fans are convinced they can hear Lilibet joining in with her mum.
The clip does feature a child’s voice, but it is not confirmed who it belongs to. Despite the lack of confirmation, fans took to social media to express their emotions, with some saying the voice “broke” them and left them “in tears”.
On the alternative to Twitter, one touched X user exclaimed: “How sweet does little Lili sound? I’ve listened to this sweet clip of her and Meghan singing about Guy like a million times.”
Another enthusiast chimed in: “Oh wow, how lovely. I listened over and over, so cute!” A third commenter added emotional depth by sharing: “This broke me. It’s a beautiful tribute.”
