Aaron Korsh revealed the possibility of past iconic characters coming back in the new spin-off of Suits, including Meghan Markle.

Suits: LA has had fans more excited than ever. With more than five years having passed since the parent series finished its nine-season run, fans have been more than a little excited about coming back into the world of witty, law banter.

However, it is important to remember that even though it has been confirmed that Harvey Specter is coming back, the series follows completely new characters in a new setting. At the same time, fans cannot help but wonder if they will see more familiar faces once the series begins its run, including Rachel Zane actress Meghan Markle.

The creator of both projects, Aaron Korsh, commented on exactly this, and what he had to say may raise hopes.

Aaron Korsh has been heading the production of Suits: LA, assuming the role of creator yet again with the spin-off. With how many questions fans have about the upcoming series, it is not surprising that he has been giving a lot of answers.

Recently, he gave an interview with The Mirror US, where he was asked questions about the series. More specifically, Korsh was asked if past stars from the parent series would be making appearances in the new show, considering how Gabriel Macht is reprising the role of Harvey.

The director was quick to deviate from the answer that the series is trying to establish itself as something new rather than replicate the past. He stated that fans want original characters to come back and be as iconic as they were in Suits, something he expected and is not surprised by.

Not trying to replace our beloved originals. Just a new crew working in a different city handling different kinds of cases. It seems like people are all wishing it was the originals back. I expected this and can’t blame them. I can only hope they give Suits LA an open-minded try. If they do, I really believe they will grow to love it.

However, he seemed to have requested fans to keep an open mind when they began watching the series, stating that the show would be just as special for them if they allowed it to be.

Aaron Korsh seemingly did not like a line of questioning about the past when he was making something new. However, he was pushed once more, being asked the question again so that he could give his opinions about old cast members from Suits coming back in the new series.

Finally speaking on it, he stated that he was open to the idea of them coming back at some point in the new show’s run. At the same time, he did clarify that that would not happen any time soon since he has to focus on establishing new characters rather than doing reruns of the past.

This could mean that cast members like Meghan Markle, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, and Rick Hoffman could eventually come back.
