Kanye West’s website Yeezy.com has been taken down after the rapper sold white t-shirts featuring the Nazi Swastika symbol, which was the only item being sold on the website

Kanye West’s website, Yeezy.com, was abruptly shut down after the rapper sparked outrage by selling $20 t-shirts emblazoned with the Swastika, a symbol inextricably linked to Nazi Germany and still used by far-right extremists.

The website was taken offline on Tuesday, February 11, after it was discovered that the only item available for purchase was a white T-shirt featuring the Swastika symbol, devoid of any description or context, save for the cryptic code “HH-01.”

Each shirt was priced at $20. Now, visitors to the site are greeted by a blank page with a message stating: “This store is unavailable.”

The sale of the shirt ignited widespread outrage, as the Swastika is a potent symbol of Nazism, antisemitism, white supremacism, and hate, particularly in the aftermath of World War II and the Holocaust.

In fact, some countries, including Germany, have outlawed the use of the symbol.

The 47-year-old rapper had revamped his website to exclusively feature the offending shirt earlier in the week, following a bizarre Super Bowl commercial promoting his brand.

In the 30-second ad, Kanye was seen sitting in a dentist’s chair, apparently getting his expensive titanium teeth installed, and saying: “So what’s up, guys? I spent, like, all the money for the commercial on these new teeth. So once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone. Um, um, um, go to yeezy.com.”

The “Power” artist has been stirring up controversy with a series of offensive tirades on X, previously known as Twitter.
