An unsportsmanlike penalty could have cost Patrick Mahomes $14,491. It would have been his first of the season but the NFL may have ruled a second offense, meaning Mahomes would have had to pay around $20,288.

His last unsportsmanlike penalty came against the Buffalo Bills in 2024 for an “obscene gesture.”Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have dealt with constant struggles this season. The Chiefs stand at 5-5 on the season, riding a two-game losing skid.Throughout the NFL season, Mahomes has posted 18 touchdowns and 2,625 yards.
