Prince William and Kate Middleton have made similar visits like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton after they visited victims of wildfires, ravaging Los Angeles, California.

Speaking to the Newsweek, royal expert Afua Hagan commented on Meghan and Harry’s visit, calling it “more of the same” from them.

It’s typical. It’s more of the same,” Hagan said and added “The motto of Archewell is ‘show up and do good’ and that’s what they did and they’re panned for it.”

Archie and Lilibet doting parents launched their Archewell Foundation after relocating to California in 2020 as they stepped down from senior royal roles.

Since then they have launched various charitable initiatives.

Afua Hagan went on saying Prince William and Kate Middleton have made similar visits.

“The Prince and Princess of Wales have gone to many a food bank, many a soup kitchen doing the same, showing up and doing good. But only Harry and Meghan seem to get the criticism for it.”

The California-based royal couple have also opened their $14 million Montecito mansion to friends who have been forced to evacuate.
