Just In n: Travis Kelce in retirement ‘mode’ with Kansas City Chiefs star’s Taylor Swift plans revealed…. Continue Reading

Kelce has also been recently spotted playing another sport.
TRAVIS Kelce has reportedly decompressed following his Kansas City Chiefs’ brutal Super Bowl defeat – and he’s done it alongside his music icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
The NFL star tight end will return for a 13th season in the league after contemplating retirement.
This month, Kelce has been enjoying himself in the offseason with Swift.
The superstar couple are believed to have taken an international vacation and were seen on several date nights after returning to the US.
As the Chiefs look to win their third Super Bowl in four seasons in 2025, Kelce has decided to dive into the life of what he would be undertaking when he does call it quits on his Hall of Fame career.
“With all this free time with Taylor and all this travel they are doing together, it is getting Travis to learn what retirement will be like,” a Kelce source told the Daily Mail.
“He is loving this time with Taylor, and he is very happy it is all going well because this is what he will be dealing with after his playing days are over.”
Kelce has also taken his talents to the fairway and recently played at the North Carolina golf course Pinehurst, where last year’s US Open took place.
He has played there with Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes in the past.
Nonetheless, Kelce has made it clear that he’s ready to give it his all in 2025.
“Travis is going to go all in on this [next] season, as he expects it to be his last,” the source told the outlet.
“He wants to retire as a Chief… and his contract is up after this year.
“So] his current idea is to hang it up after this season.”
However, the Daily Mail revealed that Kelce’s reason behind playing for one more season could be linked to Swift and her favorite number.
“It has in no way been constant conversation… but as Travis was contemplating retirement this year, a thought that passed his mind was what if he were to retire after next season, he would then be eligible for the NFL [Pro Football] Hall of Fame in 2031 [since any player needs at least five years in order to be a Hall of Fame inductee,” the insider told the outlet.
“Flip the 31 around, and that is 13 – Taylor’s favorite number. Such a random thought did pass his mind.”
Swift’s birthday is December 13, and she has referenced the number in past songs.
“One thing Travis has learned being in a relationship with Taylor is that her life is heavily dependent on a schedule,” the source added.
Kelce is coming off his worst full-season campaign and totaled 823 touchdowns and a career-low three touchdowns.
Page Six reported that while the final decision to return to the game of football was made by Kelce, Swift was also part of the decision-process.
It’s believed that the 14-time Grammy winner wants Kelce to “go out on a high note”.
Kelce’s reasoning for not retiring echoed Swift’s reported line of thinking during a New Heights episode earlier this month.
