Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has announced her new stint. She will now be launching a podcast, narrating the stories of successful women.

Meghan Markle on Thursday announced her new venture on social media. After her cookery show on Netflix, the Duchess of Sussex is ready with a podcast where she will be discussing successful women’s stories.

Titled ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’, the podcast, as mentioned by Markle in the caption of her Instagram post, will feature women who turned their small ideas into big businesses over time. “I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: Confessions of a Female Founder, my new podcast with @lemonadamedia!” Meghan wrote.

She posted a poster of the podcast in which she could be seen wearing a blue shirt, hair tied in a low ponytail and some nude makeup. Markle’s caption further read, “I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever, It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?) (sic).”

Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have been in the pursuit of establishing an independent identity, out of the shadow of their British monarchy.

As reported by E! News, Markle called her podcast a great opportunity to learn from these successful female entrepreneurs. “Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024,” she said.

Markle’s new podcast is being backed by Lemonada. This is her second stint at podcast after their first one with Spotify landed in a soup in 2023 following a few recordings.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has been at the centre of severe backlash and online trolling for her latest Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’. A section of the audience called her out for setting unrealistic standards for women on the show, and glorifying frivolousness as beauty and the idea of a slow life.
