King Charles seems to be in high spirits as the Holiday season approaches, despite his cancer battle

King Charles gave his struggle with cancer a rather optimistic turn with his comments.

The 76-year-old British monarch made a rather humorous remark over being “still alive” during his visit to Walthamstow, alongside Queen Camilla.

This visit by the royal couple comes after the peaceful anti-racist protest in the same area back in August. Attending the reception at Waltham Forest Town Hall in east London, Charles and Camilla appreciated the crowds gathered outside and community cohesion.

When Harvinder Rattan, a Sikh representative, asked the King, “How are you?” Charles III smiled and answered, “I’m still alive.”

After the visit, the son to late Queen Elizabeth and Camilla, interacted with the crowds outside of town hall as they took a stroll, meeting the representatives of diverse communities with respect to faith.

Additionally, the 77-year-old Queen consort of Britain donated 25 toys to Citizens UK during her visit for children in asylum hotels while King Charles made a donation to a food bank.

Following a performance by A Little Choir of Joy, a children’s choir, King Charles wished them a happy Christmas, suggesting that the little children “make the most of it” for their “poor teachers.”
