Just In: King Charles changes tactics and ‘makes peace’ with Harry and Megan Markle over clear interest…..See More

Charles and the Royals still have their own ulterior motives, however
Meghan Markle is navigating a whirlwind of challenges as she ventures into her latest business and entertainment endeavors but with several obstacles before her, she may have found an unlikely ally in the form of King Charles III.
Fresh off a successful showing at the Invictus Games alongside Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex was poised to launch her much-anticipated Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and simultaneously breathe new life into her struggling lifestyle brand. However, her plans have hit a few unexpected obstacles.
Initially, Markle introduced her brand under the name American Riviera Orchard (ARO), a nod to her Santa Barbara neighborhood. But after facing trademark complications and staffing shortages, she opted for a complete rebrand.
Enter As Ever-a name she hoped would better encapsulate her passion for cooking, crafting, and gardening. The 43-year-old made the heartfelt announcement via a homemade video, featuring an adorable cameo from her daughter, Lilibet, adding a personal and intimate touch to the reveal.
“The cat’s out of the bag. I’m shocked we’ve kept this a secret for so long,” Markle said of the As Ever venture. “My show is coming out in two weeks, which I’m so excited about.
And also my business, which I think there has been a lot of curiosity about. Last year, I thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’
“It’s my neighborhood, a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”
However, just as things seemed to be aligning for the Duchess of Sussex, an unexpected setback arose. A New York-based clothing company named As Ever, owned by businessman Mark Kolski, publicly addressed the sudden name overlap.
In a statement, Kolski clarified he won’t be changing the name of his vintage company, which was founded a decade ago in 2015. It reworks military attire into signature tanker pants and his message was clear: they had no intention of stepping aside, despite lacking a formal trademark registration.
How has King Charles III backed Markle?
However, King Charles III and the Royal Family are watching from London, reportedly hoping for Markle and Prince Harry’s success in what is a stunning twist from the tensions that have existed since around 2018 but definitely since 2020.
According to royal insiders, His Majesty wishes for the couple to flourish in their independent ventures, ensuring they remain financially self-sufficient and away from further royal controversies, of which have become all too familiar.
Courtiers tell me that members of the Royal Family actually hope the American duchess’s eight-part series will be a hit when it is released,” Richard Eden told the dailymail.com. “Everyone wants it to be a success.
“And that’s because, if it is, she and Harry won’t need to exploit their royal connections again.”
