“It’s just who I am and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open, honest and relatable,” Biles told PEOPLE Magazine. Biles, 28, recently shared on TikTok that she underwent three different plastic surgery procedures but said two of them “wouldn’t be noticeable.”

She explained to the magazine that she got a lower blepharoplasty procedure, which, according to JAMA Network, is a surgery to improve the appearance of the lower eyelids. Biles also got earlobe surgery, which was tied to an incident where an earring was ripped out of her ear as a child.
When talking about her breast augmentation, Biles said she did not get the procedure because she disliked how she looked, but said it was about feeling good about herself and loving herself. She added that she hopes her transparency helps younger girls.

“I also think it shows young girls that they have the right to their own choices, whatever they are, and that’s no shame added as well,” Biles said. “As long as you love yourself, that’s really all that matters.”
