Ahead of the release of their first album, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco stepped out for a date night in New York City, where they were spotted holding hands.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were all smiles as they stepped out in New York City for a date night.

Days before their first collaborative album release, the engaged couple spent a night in the city’s West Village.

The Only Murders in the Building actress was spotted wearing an all-black ensemble that featured a lengthy blazer and a pair of trousers. She paired the look with a leather crossbody bag and leather booties.

As for her fiancée, Benny was dressed very opposingly as he tossed on a graphic white button-down shirt and a pair of brown cow print pants. He finished it off with a set of gold necklaces and patent leather loafers.

The two strolled through downtown with their hands intertwined.

The couple are in town to promote their album I Said I Love You First. On Thursday, they will be hanging out with fans and playing the tracklist.

Afterwards, they will visit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Their first collaborative album I Said I Love You First will be released on March 21. According to Selena’s website, the 14 tracks, which feature Gracie Abrams and J Balvin, will “celebrate the pair’s love story.”

“This album came together organically as a direct result of the comfort that they both felt when working together creatively, allowing them to produce art that authentically reflects their experiences.”

Despite the backlash they have received in the past, critics were surprisingly impressed with the music that has already been released from the album.

When the duo’s new song Sunset Blvd hit streaming platforms, one wrote to Reddit: “I actually really like this? I wouldn’t say I love her music, but Benny Blanco is a great producer.”

Another added: “Okay but honestly I like this song, I rock with the 80s vibes and it makes me want to drive with the windows down. Wish it had released earlier during my spring break.”

“Oh I love this. Scratches my brain nicely,” a third chimed in.

Benny has been dating Selena since December of 2023. Before exploring a romantic connection, the two worked with each other on several hit singles including Same Old Love, Kill Em with Kindness, and Single Soon, which was released a couple of months before the actress confirmed their relationship on her Instagram.
