Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got engaged back in December

Scarlett Johansson gushed over Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s chemistry at the Oscars, revealing the couple was in the “honeymoon phase” and looked “very cute” throughout the night.

While conversing with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos backstage at the Dolby Theatre, the Jurassic World Rebirth star and June Squibb was asked if they heard “any gossip” from their seats.

While Squibb, 95, didn’t “hear anything” herself, her co-presenter shared details about sitting next to the Single Soon crooner and her music producer boyfriend.

Well, I’m sitting next to Selena and Benny and I have to say… I’m seeing a lot of very cute, honeymoon-phase cuteness happening,” Johansson said, before giving an approval with her facial expression.

Prior to this, the Black Widow starlet got candid on Gomez and Blanco’s engagement during an episode of TODAY with Jenna & Friends in January.

“I don’t know her personally, but I feel like now I’m invested in this,” she said, calling the couple “so cute.”

To note, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got engaged back in December after an year of their relationship went public.

The couple were in attendance at the Oscars since Gomez’s Emilia Pérez earned a nod for Best Picture among its 13 total nominations.
