Exclusive: Melania ignores husband Donald Trump as he makes three-word remark to her before Congress…..See More

Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made their way to the Capitol ahead of his speech, with a lip reader picking up on a tense moment between the couple
President Trump is scheduled to address Congress and the nation tonight in Washington D. C., marking his first such appearance since taking office in January.
As he and First Lady Melania Trump journeyed to the Capitol, lip reader NJ Hickling identified a tense exchange between the couple.
As they departed the White House hand-in-hand and made their way to their vehicle, Trump was heard saying “everything is good,” accompanied by a raised fist and a wink. While it seemed he was addressing the cameras, his comment was actually intended for Melania, who did not react to his gesture.
Following her disregard of Trump’s reassuring words, the First Lady appeared to force a smile as they moved towards the presidential limousine.
The couple’s hand-holding seemed strained, with Melania seemingly struggling to free her hand from her husband’s grasp, raising her arm as they walked.
This struggle did not go unnoticed by social media users, some of whom suggested she was being “paid extra” to hold his hand. Trump entered the car without offering to open the door for his wife and took his seat in the back as she circled the vehicle, reports the Irish Star.
The First Lady has seemingly distanced herself from the President for some time, particularly after expressing her pro-choice views on abortion in her 2024 memoir, which was published just one month prior to the election.
Melania Trump opted for a more subdued look than usual, donning a muted gray belted skirt suit paired with black pumps. The First Lady was met with a standing ovation from the chamber as President Trump introduced her.
Their son Barron was not present in the chamber, while Trump’s adult children and their spouses were there to show support for their father.
This hour-long speech marks the first time Trump has addressed Congress and the American people since his election for a second non-consecutive term in January.
The address follows the imposition of trade tariffs against Canada, Mexico, and China, sparking fears of a potential trade war between these nations.
