Lady Gaga’s engagement ring is seriously big—like really, really big. In a recent appearance on the holiday special of Carpool Karaoke, the popstar, who is engaged to tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky, gave fans a glimpse at her massive engagement ring: a large oval diamond set on a pavé band, worn on her left hand. And, yes, people are blown away by the sheer size of the thing. “That ring is absolutely bananas,” one fan wrote on X. “That ring is huge lol,” another wrote.

This isn’t the first time Gaga has shown off her ring. She debuted the new bling back in April while out for a walk with Polansky. She later seemingly confirmed the engagement in July when she was captured in a fan video referring to Polansky as her fiancé. Since then, she has been spotted wearing the ring on various outings, including several events at September’s Venice Film Festival and in a November video in which she voiced her support for Kamala Harris.

However, the ring’s latest appearance in Gaga’s Carpool Karaoke has given everyone a closer peek. According to experts at UK jewelry retailer Steven Stone, the ring is as big as it looks.

“The centre stone is a lot larger than we first thought. It appears to be a 15 carat oval-cut diamond—a modern cut that symbolizes uniqueness, perfectly complimenting her distinctive style and bold fashion choices,” says Zack Stone.

He added, “Given the size and quality of the diamond, Lady Gaga’s latest ring is undoubtedly valuable. I would estimate its worth to be around $1.25 million.”

Gaga may have a very extravagant engagement ring, but her wedding may be a little more low-key. “We actually talk about going to the courthouse just the two of us and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga recently said during a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel. Then again, it could end up being a little more elaborate—she is Lady Gaga, after all. “Knowing me, also, it could become like a circus with unicorns,” she added.

As for what comes next for the couple, Gaga and Polansky have already opened up about their plans to start a family. “You know, I’m so happy to be in love, and I’m so excited to have a family,” she said while speaking to Buzzfeed Canada. “So, that’s definitely number one.”

In fact, Gaga has been thinking about kids for years. “I will say I am very excited to have kids. she told us at InStyle back in 2020. “I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”
