Exclusive: Kate Middleton Makes Fashion Faux Pas, But Fans Say ‘It Looks So Good on Her….Read More

While fashion is always changing, certain pairings are generally frowned upon, like wearing socks with sandals.
But fashion is one thing, and style is another, and Kate Middleton fans are swooning over her latest sartorial choice that flies in the face of one of fashion’s biggest rules.
On March 15, the future Queen of England and her husband, Prince Willliam, attended a rugby game at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in Wales. While ostensibly, all eyes were on the players as England and Wales faced off in the Six Nations Cup rugby match, eagle-eyed fashion fiends were more focused on Middleton.
The princess opted for a controversial color combination, wearing black with a navy blue Alexander McQueen coat. The military-inspired coat, with gold buttons at the waist, grazed her calves, where black suede boots peeked out. Middleton wore a black turtleneck and carried a black leather handbag with a top handle to complete the ensemble.
Middleton fashion accounts on social media quickly identified the coat’s silhouette as a frequent flyer in the royal’s wardrobe, pointing out that she favors the outerwear so much that she has it in red and green, though in both cases, those coats have black buttons, not gold.
Fans loved the look, jumping into the comments of one fan account’s Instagram post to write, “Looks warm and comfortable for the footy fans and weather always gorgeous all the time ” and calling it a “Very classy Look!”
Magnificent as usual,” wrote another fan, as more chimed in say, “This is the best color. I love the navy so much. It looks so good on her..”
“Omg I just can’t , she looks so so so beautiful ,” said a third.
