Exclusive: Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt Set the Bar High for SAG Awards Reunions….See More

We will never get over Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s 2020 SAG Awards reunion.
In the span of 12 short months, the world witnessed a global pandemic, Joe Biden was elected President and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry exited from the royal family. Still, amid these unprecedented times, the reunion of two exes was also a momentous occasion that would go down in history.
Jennifer and Brad—who were married from 2000 to 2005—were both nominated for their respective roles in The Morning Show and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. And it seems the stars perfectly aligned that night because just as the Brad was exiting the stage after accepting his award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Film, Jennifer was making her way onto the stage to accept her win for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series.
In the surge of movement, the two suddenly crossed paths and the world was gifted the most indescribable reunion. They shared a backstage hug, a heartfelt congratulations and the Fight Club actor even held on to the Friends actress’ arm as she made her dramatic exit in the most stunning white silk gown.
And just a few moments before, Brad took a moment in his acceptance speech to joke about his romantic history, having also been engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow in 1996 and married to Angelina Jolie from 2014 to 2019.
“Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part,” Brad said of his character in the Quentin Tarantino film. “A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn’t get on with his wife. It was a big stretch.”
And after the star-studded ceremony, Jennifer had nothing but fond words for her former husband, explaining on The Howard Stern Show the following year that “it was absolutely fun” to see him.
You know, Brad and I are buddies,” she continued. “Like, we’re friends and we speak.”
Now, with the 2025 SAG Awards quickly approaching Feb. 23 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, there is no telling what reunions we will bear witness to—whether they are between friends, lovers, costars or exes.
