Breaking: Royal Insider Claims Meghan Markle Had Planned a ‘Post-Harry Divorce Book’: Report…. Check In

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been happily married since 2018. Nonetheless, rumors of a rift have been rife for a while now as the couple makes fewer appearances together and pursues individual ventures. Recently, an insider claimed that Markle’s team allegedly pitched a ‘post-divorce book’ on her behalf. The proposal was reportedly made to an unnamed publisher, causing speculations about the state of their marriage.
The source told Vanity Fair that Markle’s team allegedly was only trying to ‘gauge interest’ in a hypothetical ‘divorce’ book. The source clarified that the proposed work would focus on a theoretical split from Harry, not a general take on life after divorce or her past marriage to Trevor Engelson. Vanity Fair journalist, Anna Peele, reported that the ‘hypothetical’ book has no manuscript and no offers being made yet.
Despite the insider claims, Peele argued that the couple is not headed towards divorce. Instead, her exposé suggests that the couple is madly in love. According to The Sun, Peele penned, “This book—this notion of a book, really—might center on a post-Harry divorce. Not that there was actually one in the works! Just…if this a priori divorce ever came to be, would this publisher theoretically be interested in a book that took place in its aftermath?” Slamming the article, a friend of the couple told the Daily Beast, “The Vanity Fair divorce story seemed very unfair. There was a book, but there wasn’t a book. She was planning for life after divorce, but they are totally in love. What? There was not a shred of evidence.”
Markle and Prince Harry’s divorce rumors were exacerbated by the said exposé, though they existed long before the bombshell article. Last year, speculation ran rampant that the couple was undergoing a ‘professional separation,’ as they made no joint appearances. However, an insider who worked for the couple squashed the rumors and told Page Six, “Meghan and Harry know that they are tied together, their value is in being a couple—even if they wanted to split, they couldn’t…They are just two narcissists.”
Peele’s claims about the ‘post-divorce book’ have reportedly deeply upset the Sussexes as the news went viral. Though Markle has never directly addressed the rumors, Prince Harry himself has vehemently denied divorce rumors in the past. He jokingly made a statement during a New York summit saying, “Apparently, we have divorced maybe 10-12 times. So it’s just like, what? It’s hard to keep up with, but that is why you just sort of ignore it.” The couple has been going strong for almost a decade together since they first met on a blind date.
