Prince Harry’s hope is regarding Meghan Markle’s reportedly firm stance on never visiting the U.K.

Meghan Markle was reportedly against going to England after her not-so-good experience with the royal family.

However, Prince Harry has seemingly upped his hopes after one of their close friends moved to the U.K.

Ellen DeGeneres was that friend, and reports say that in the wake of her shifting to Great Britain, the Duke of Sussex may be able to convince his better-half to visit his home country.

Earlier, the popular TV personality decided to move to England after unloading various properties in the States.

Interestingly, her departure from the U.S. came following the victory of Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

However, an insider dismissed the perception that the now-president-elect had anything to do with Ellen’s decision.

“With all the ill will towards her, she was looking to move away even before the election. And as things panned out with Trump winning, she is glad she is making the move and going to be away from the US,” the source told Daily Mail.

Back to the rebel royals, Ellen is a close friend of the pair as a bird chirped, “Losing them is pretty upsetting,” as “Ellen and Portia have been absolute rocks for Meghan and Harry from the moment they moved to California.”

“They helped them get settled in Montecito and introduced them to so many great people, they’re such a huge part of Meghan and Harry’s circle,” they spilled to In Touch.

However, insiders said that despite facing the “bummer,” Harry saw a glimmer of hope in her friend’s decision.

“The silver lining, at least as far as Harry’s concerned, is that Meghan might actually agree to go over to the U.K. to visit them,” the tipster tattled.

Knowing that she’d have Ellen and Portia’s support over there would be a real help and might be enough to get her to change her mind about never setting foot there again.”

Sources concluded that Meghan’s pals living in the English countryside and the royal couple are “certainly going to stay close.”
