Biles’ new family addition was announced on Instagram
SIMONE Biles and NFL husband Jonathan Owens have revealed a new family member.
The gymnast icon will care for a four-legged companion as they settle into their new mansion in Spring, Texas.
Simone Biles and the Chicago Bears defender adopted a new dog to add to their family – a Doberman, to be exact.
The family already owns two bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo, and a French bulldog, Zeus.
Owens reposted an Instagram story message from @regalempiredobermans that announced the couple’s new family dog.
“Congratulations to @jowens & @simonebiles. They will be getting their Regal Empire Doberman later this year,” the March 30 post said.
The next day, Biles made a post on her Instagram story, showcasing the dog’s new home.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist showed Rambo appearing to be amazed by the size of the mansion.
Another picture showed that the dogs get their own room in the house.
“dog room [side-eye emojis],” Biles wrote in the caption of the photo displaying Rambo next to a black-and-white shelf and two bowls.
Biles brought the two bulldogs into the household, and they help the 28-year-old’s mental health as an elite athlete.
“Being an elite athlete puts a lot of stress and pressure on you,” Biles said in the past.
And I got Lilo and Rambo for emotional support and to be a companion through all my ups and downs.”
Owens’s dog Zeus joined Lilo and Rambo in 2020 when the NFL player started dating Biles.
They met on a dating app and married in 2023.
Zeus even has his own Instagram account, which has over 3,500 followers.
“Most energetic English Bulldog you’ve ever met,” Zeus’s bio reads.
I love food, chewing on everything I can find, and taking long naps.”
While Biles has duties as a dog mom, she didn’t rule out having kids in an interview with Today last summer.
The gymnast said she and Owens “always” talk about starting a family, but they have other goals in mind before welcoming a child.
