Springbok boss Rassie Erasmus continues to encourage fan engagement in unique ways, as evidenced by his latest ‘project’.

It goes without saying that Rassie Erasmus is a one-of-a-kind coach and personality, with his bold approach to doing things differently having played a key role in taking the Springboks back to the summit of world rugby

He is one of the few top-tier coaches to make regular use of social media, even though this has previously landed him in hot water at times, with certain posts having led to sanction from World Rugby.

However, Erasmus has always said a key goal when it comes to social media is to ensure the average Springbok fan feels included and gains further insights into the game, while at times it has also just simply allowed followers to get an inside look at Rassie’s life away from the rugby field.

The Springbok boss has now taken the time to launch a rugby video channel on YouTube, which he is just getting started.

This channel will only post current and past rugby games/footage for a bit of nostalgia and fun,” he shared when posting on X this past weekend. “Obviously I would love if we get proper interaction and comments.”

So far, Erasmus has seven videos that are currently active, and which will certainly appeal to diehard rugby fans.
