Christmas at Sandringham will be a lot quieter this year as Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice will also miss out on the Royal walkabout.
Christmas at Sandringham may be a little quieter this year as Princess Eugenie and Beatrice are set to miss out on the Royal Family’s Christmas celebration.
Last year the sisters and their respective husbands put on a united display and attended the traditional Royal walkabout following the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
However, this year Beatrice and Eugenie will be notably absent and are believed to be spending the festive period with their in-laws for the first time since their marriages, a source tells Hello magazine.
Beatrice married property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 with the couple expecting their second child in early spring 2025.
Edoardo and Beatrice share their daughter Sienna, 3, and Christopher Woolf, affectionately known as ‘Wolfie’, 8, Edo’s son from a previous relationship.
Wolfie stepped out in public alongside his doting father and stepmother at Sandringham in December 2022.
Princess Eugenie tied-the-knot with Jack Brooksbank in 2018 and since then the couple have become regulars on the royal social scene, attending events with the rest of the Royal Family.
The couple welcomed their first son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, on February 9, 2021.
In January 2023, Eugenie and Jack announced that they were expecting a second child, and in June of the same year, they debuted their new son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.
