The Prince and Princess of Wales will carry out two visits on their joint trip to Wales.
Prince William and Princess Kate are set to carry out two joint royal engagements next week in South Wales following the half-term break.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will spend next Wednesday in Pontypridd, South Wales, where they will carry out two engagements today ahead of St. David’s Day.
William, 42, and Kate, 43, will begin the visit on February 26 at Pontypridd Market, where they will meet local business owners.
The market has been at the heart of the community for over 200 years and is home to a number of traders.
As well as taking a look around the market and food hall, Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales will also visit The Welsh Cake Shop, which has been serving Welsh cakes for over 25 years.
William and Kate will spend time meeting the owners of the business before preparing and cooking their own Welsh cakes, which is set to be a fun activity for the couple to take part in.
They will then visit the nearby Fountain Café where they will met business owners and talk about life in Pontypridd Market and the role it has within the local community.
Discussions will also include talks about recent flooding in the area, including floods which happened just months ago as a result of Storm Bert and Storm Darragh.
After this visit, William and Kate will then visit Meadow Street Community Garden and Woodland, a community space for people to come together and enjoy the benefits of nature.
