The Duke of Sussex delivered a heartfelt video message at the Diana Award ceremony in London

Prince Harry recalled his mother late mother Princess Diana’s faith in young people.

On December 5, The Duke of Sussex gave an emotional video message at The Diana Award, honoring young changemakers inspired by his mother’s legacy.

Harry began with, “My mother’s belief in the power of young people to drive positive change continues to inspire me. No matter the challenges we face, whether it’s climate change, mental health or systemic injustices, her legacy and the efforts of young people to inspire further action in the world fill me with hope,”

“Sometimes the world’s problems can seem too big for any one person to tackle, but your efforts are a powerful reminder that we all have the potential to contribute to a fairer world,” he said.

“No one is ever a conduit for change alone and the award recipients we’re honoring today are testament to that,” Harry noted, adding that he’s “especially honored to have had the chance to listen to your impressive stories and the positive impact you continue to have on young people’s lives.”
