Omid Scobie makes new statement about Meghan Markle ahead of new book

Omid Scobie admits talking about Meghan Markle has become uninteresting over the course of time.

The royal author, who is writing a book set to made into a TV show called Royal Spin, says he has not links with Meghan Markle nor is he the Duchess’ friend.

This comes as a source tells Daily Mail: “Let’s just say the plot isn’t a million miles away from Meghan’s account of what happened to her when she joined the Royal Family, just substitute ‘publicist’ for ‘actress’.”

Responding to the co lecture, Scobie told his X followers: “Just because it’s a catchy headline doesn’t make it true.

“So let’s make this clear: Royal Spin’s story and characters have nothing to do with Meghan,” he added.

“As a journalist I covered the Duchess fairly, but it’s so boring to keep calling her my friend (not true) or link her to my work,” Scobie established.
