Breaking News: Meghan Markle’s jumper has special link with Princess Lilibet – and Princess Diana…..See More

Meghan Markle has been accused of copying the late Princess Diana’s style by sporting a Northwestern University sweater in her latest Instagram video.
Meghan Markle’s Northwestern jumper appears to hold a sweet connection to her three-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Many fans spotted similarities between the styles of Meghan – who, herself, attended Northwestern University – and the late Princess Diana – who also sported the same jumper back in 1996.
People Magazine recently noted that Diana had received her Northwestern top as a souvenir during her visit to the university on June 4, 1996 – which is her youngest granddaughter’s birthday.
Princess Lilibet, Meghan and Prince Harry’s only daughter, was born on June 4, 2021.
Princess Diana, who died aged 36 in 1997, visited the university during her three-day trip to the Chicago area. Her visit began with a tour of the university’s Evanston campus, where she was welcomed by hundreds of well-wishers.
In the short series uploaded to her story, Meghan captioned one video: “A small break from work to soak in the weekend sunshine.”
Although it is unclear if it is Archie or Lilibet, one of her children can be heard replying to Meghan when she asked if they wanted to help water the plants at their Montecito mansion last week. Either Archie or Lilibet then replies: “Only if you want me [to].”
Meghan then passes the garden hose to her child, who takes the nozzle and expertly sprays the water out with their index finger.
The Duke, 40, and Duchess of Sussex, 43, have largely kept their children out of the spotlight, but Meghan has made the decision to treat fans to the odd clip or picture in recent weeks.
