Breaking News: Meghan Markle sends secret ‘message’ to King Charles about Archie and Lilibet in new video…..See More
Meghan Markle’s new heartbreaking video on Instagram had “added poignancy” for one key reason, according to an expert.
Meghan Markle reportedly sent a very “poignant” message to King Charles, as well as her own father, Thomas Markle, with her latest heartbreaking video about her rescue dog, who passed away, a body language expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex uploaded a new video on her Instagram page on Tuesday night and announced she is “devastated” after the death of her beagle, Guy.
She wrote: “I have cried too many tears to count.
The duchess said the beagle, which was one of the three dogs the Sussexes have in total, had been with her through everything, including filming Suits, getting engaged and married, and becoming a mother.
Pictures in the Instagram post showed the dog at Meghan’s side and with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Sussex children can be heard speaking in the video, with some clips showing Archie holding the dog’s lead during a walk and Lilibet playing with him on a blanket. They can also be heard singing a song about the beagle.
Body language expert Judi James claimed the clips with the children carried “added poignancy” which will “be devoured by both grandads”.
The Sussexes have been estranged from the Royal Family since their shock exit in 2020, whereas Meghan has also been estranged from her father following her wedding to Harry in 2018.
Ms James told the Mirror: “Anyone who has lost a pet will understand the kind of grief Meghan is suffering right now and she is coping in her new signature manner by creating this video of the dog that looked set to be a star of her new Netflix show.
“If the reveal of her love of Guy and of his life with the Sussex’s weren’t enough there’s added poignancy in the glimpses here of Archie and Lilibet, which will presumably be devoured by both grandads as well as the fans.”
She added: “The children are still shown in back view only and in idyllic settings that include dogs and donkeys. But there is one clip that is a ‘shared experience’, a three-dimensional glimpse rather than a distanced shot from afar, as we are shown the angle Meghan sees as they sit in the back of the car while Harry is driving.
