Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly finding life in Montecito a bit boring

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly planning to leave Montecito in 2025 in pursuit of a more social life.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their eyes on Los Angeles as the next place for a home, per an insider.

An insider told Life & Style that Meghan does have “friends at the Polo Club and a very exclusive group of other celebs and Hollywood types that they hang around.”

“Of course,” the source noted, “that doesn’t mean it’s not uncomfortable to get bashed by these busybodies. Meghan still loves Montecito, she always says how gorgeous it is, but the neighborhood vibe isn’t totally her speed.”

Per the source, the couple is looking for a more A-list circle. Meghan is in particular really excited about Harry’s new friendship with country singer Jelly Roll.

“She’s now had her eyes opened to what they could be missing out on. She’s not going to hitch her wagon to just anyone, she’s going to be choosy, but the fact is the country music world has changed a lot. There’s a lot more diversity and a whole lot of money and power and opportunity to do some social climbing in Nashville and in the south, so why not take a swing at it?” a second source explained.

The first source went on to explain that “as gorgeous as Montecito is, it does have a very small-town vibe.”

“[Montecito] is actually a vacation spot for a lot of people from L.A., so a lot of Meghan’s friends there aren’t around full time,” they added.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to their Montecito mansion in 2020 after their exit from the Royal Family as working royals.
