Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky are giving their latest date night outing a Trinity and Neo-approved twist. Ahead of the “Bad Romance” singer’s highly-anticipated Mayhem album release as well as her Saturday Night Live performance and hosting gig, Mother Monster went full Matrix as she and the entrepreneur stepped out in matching outfits for a rare date night on March 4.

Proving that he’s Gaga’s biggest supporter, Polansky took her to dinner in New York City after she finished up her SNL rehearsal on Tuesday night. As the couple grabbed a bite to eat at Lattanzi Italian restaurant, the “Abracadabra” singer paired her jet black hairstyle with a monochromatic outfit. A mid thigh-length black leather jacket with a drawstring waist, black leggings, futuristic slanted sunglasses, and thigh-high black leather motorcycle boots gave the multi-hyphenate a rock star edge.

The A Star Is Born actress paired her punk outfit with a black bob with a mini fringe–a shorter version of her divisive jellyfish haircut that she wore to the SNL50: The Anniversary Special earlier this month–as well as bleached blonde eyebrows, flawless skin, and a glossy cherry pout. Meanwhile, the Harvard grad matched his superstar wife-to-be with a black sweatshirt and black slacks.

Lady Gaga teased her SNL appearance, which will come one day after the release of Mayhem, with a hilarious promo video shared on March 5. The musician flexed her comedic chops while playing the piano during the impromptu song about bed bugs. While tickling the ivories, Gaga showed off a better look at her newly cut black bob while wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses, a black shirt, and a black baseball cap with “Mayhem” written on it.
