Breaking News; King Charles Makes ‘Unprecedented’ Move Regarding Donald Trump….See More

Almost two months into Donald Trump’s second term as president of the United States, King Charles extended a surprising invitation to the 78-year-old.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer revealed to Trump during a recent meeting at the White House that Charles was inviting him and his wife to a second state visit in England.
Starmer met with Trump on Thursday, Feb. 27, when he presented Trump with the invitation from Charles, saying, “This is a letter from His Majesty the King. It’s an invitation for a second state visit.”
This is really special. This has never happened before, this is unprecedented,” he went on. “This is a very special letter, I think the last state visit was a tremendous success. His Majesty the King wants to make this visit even better than that, so this is truly historic. An unprecedented second state visit, he wants to talk that through with you.”
Starmer turned to Trump after, joking as he said, “What I haven’t gotten yet is your answer,” leading those around them to laugh.
Trump replied, “The answer is yes, on behalf of our wonderful first lady, Melania, and myself, the answer is yes. We look forward to being there and honoring the King, honoring your country. Your country is a fantastic country, and it will be an honor to be there.”
With this request from Charles to Trump, the president becomes the first elected political leader to receive two invitations from a British ruler for a state visit. Trump’s first state visit was in 2019 after being invited by the late Queen Elizabeth.
A date for the upcoming state visit has not been shared yet.
