Breaking News: Justin Bieber shares troubling message about his faith amid Diddy’s legal troubles…. Check In
Bieber’s links to the disgraced music executive has left fans concerned about his past
Justin Bieber shared a devoted message to Jesus Christ as he continues to navigate a challenging 2024 that has seen him become a father for the first time, but also embroiled in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs scandal.
The Canadian popstar welcomed his son in August and enjoyed a couple of months of parenthood before becoming linked to the Diddy storm, that sees Combs accused of physical, emotional and sexual violence against over 100 people as well as indicted on federal charges.
Recovered footage from interviews in his youth then seemed to show the 57-year-old music executive telling the teenager not to talk about what they do behind closed doors, before another clip saw him say it’s a 15-year-old’s dream.
With the context of Diddy’s freak-off parties, where victims say they were sexually assaulted, drugged and coerced, fans became concerned for what it meant for Bieber, who famous broke down offered to protect Billie Eilish from the music industry in 2020 to Apple Music.
And the 30-year-old has elected not to make any comments about the matter, but now has possibly commented on the difficult 2024 by appearing to reaffirm his Christian beliefs and how Jesus has helped him through the times.
How can I really believe Jesus is with me?” Bieber posted to Instagram Stories. “Well for me Justin, its simply his goodness that keeps convincing me.
“Every time I thought he wouldnt show up for me he always has. Im convinced hes the perfect patient presence that guides, directs and leads me all the days of my life providing, healing, restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal.”
When is Sean Diddy Combs on trial?
Combs currently denies all claims against his name, both in civil litigation and in the federal courts, but remains behind bars in the Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bond by New York courts.
He is currently facing charges of racketeering and sex trafficking after being arrested by Homeland Security and pled not guilty on Tuesday, September 17. His trial is due to begin on May 5, 2025.
If he survives the federal prosecution, he will then need to take on Tony Buzbee and over 100 complaints who have accused him of abuse since his ex-partner, Cassie Ventura, filed lawsuit in November 2023.
One such document accuses him of raping a 13-year-old girl with Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) at the MTV VMA Awards afterparty in 2000. Both deny the accusation.
