For those hoping to see more of Princess Kate in the new year, we’ve got news for you: it’s simply not happening.

That’s because Kate Middleton has made it pretty clear that she’s prioritizing herself while taking on less royal engagements and public appearances. In fact, she’s currently got nothing on the agenda as of press time.

For a lot of critics though, they can’t understand why the Princess of Wales would want to scale back when she’s already completed her chemotherapy treatment for her cancer and is on the mend.

Well, it seems like the royal mother-of-three simply wants to focus on her mental health and all the things that make her happy in her life, including her family. As much as Kate knows that the media is going to call her a lazy royal again, that doesn’t matter to her anymore.

Her cancer diagnosis changed everything and even though she’s set to become the next queen of England, Kate Middleton simply wants to take things one day at a time. And if that means doing less royal engagements and public appearances, then so be it.

She knows that she’s only got one life and she doesn’t want anyone to take it away from her. As far as Kate is concerned, she’s put in the work that she’s had to in order to get where she is today.

And while there’s no doubt that she’s going to get a lot of hate from the British media, Kate Middleton is used to it by now. She’s not going to let it get in the way of what’s really important in her life, and that’s her happiness.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
