DONALD Trump seemed to suggest that his son Barron might not follow in his footsteps and could pursue a career in technology.
The towering teen, who is at least 6 feet 7 inches tall, turned 19 on Thursday and could even receive a visit from his dad to mark the occasion.
Trump was interviewed by Fox News star Laura Ingraham on March 18, and Barron was brought up as a topic of discussion.
“Is Barron’s aptitude in your view business or politics,” she asked.
“Maybe technology,” Trump said.
Trump hailed Barron’s computer skills and said his son had an “unbelievable aptitude” in technology.
He can look at a computer,” he told Ingraham.
“I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?'”
Trump shared Barron’s quip that he hurls back.
“None of your business, dad.”
Trump also told Ingraham that he speaks to him “all the time.”
Trump previously joked that Barron could hack his computer when he was just 15 years old.
“I have a young son, Barron. He can make his computer sing,” Trump told CPAC in 2022.
“I turn it off and I lock it, two minutes later, ‘Hi dad how you doing?’ I say what are you doing. ‘I know how to get it open dad.'”
Trump could visit New York today to mark Barron’s birthday, The Palm Beach Post reported.
Bosses at the Federal Aviation Administration have imposed temporary flight restrictions in Bedminster, New Jersey, between March 21 and March 22.
Barron is a student at New York University, and the college is preparing to wrap up for spring break.
He started at the college’s Stern School of Business in September and is said to be popular with the women.
