Breaking News: Department Of Homeland Security Vouches For Prince Harry In Regard To US Visa….Read More

British royal family news reveals that six pages of heavily redacted documents regarding Prince Harry’s US visa application were made public on Tuesday, following a two-year fight for disclosure.
There is still not full disclosure however because despite a judge vowing to release “as much material as possible, Harry’s actual immigration file has remained private.”
According to the Daily Mail, the think tank Heritage Foundation sued to expose Harry’s documents. Instead, the public got six documents with “page after page of blocked out type, meant to protect Harry’s privacy and stop him being subjected to ‘harassment.’” Is this justice?
Prince Harry’s Privacy Preserved
At the same time, the Trump administration said Tuesday that Prince Harry did not receive special treatment when he emigrated to the United States in 2020.
Specifically, a Department of Homeland Security lawyer claimed that Harry’s application followed all of the “applicable rules and regulations.”
Before the release it was speculated that Harry could be deported if he lied about his rampant drug use on the application.
In a case of rules for thee and not me, the DHS refused a Freedom of Information request from Heritage for Harry’s paperwork for the purpose of determining if he lied about his drug habit.
Prince Harry’s US Visa Documents Released
Harry went into detail in his memoir ‘Spare’ and his Netflix reality show about using cannabis, cocaine and magic mushrooms. He’s also copped to using the illegal hallucinogenic ayahuasca.
Anyone who lies about drug use on immigration forms may be subject to further questioning or be denied entry.
Instead of clear answers, the public was given the following legal salad from Jarrod Panter, chief FOIA officer at DHS: “the agency determined it was not possible to release ‘any portion’ of Harry’s records as anyone with a familiarity with immigration law could easily determine Harry’s status.”
He added that “To release such information would potentially expose the individual to harm from members of the public who might have a reason to manipulate or harass individuals depending on their status in the United States.”
As such “Making such information public could subject Harry to ‘reasonably foreseeable harm in the form of harassment as well as unwanted contact by the media and others.’”
Additionally, Panter said Harry was not given “preferential treatment.”
So is what we have here, after a two year legal battle, a nothingburger? What was released today amounts to “a seven page long list of documents that were identified in the case – but all of them are redacted. Four of the other documents are declarations from records officers at DHS and they have heavy redactions too. The sixth document is a partial transcript of an in camera hearing from April 30th 2024 in which both sides discuss the case.”
For some reason the musician Sting makes an appearance in Harry’s paperwork via “a fleeting reference to the musician Sting and one person – it is not clear who – says: ‘…In whether Prince Harry or Sting or anyone else you can think of who is prominent has a particular visa status.’”
The case infamously led to conjecture that Donald Trump could force Harry out of the US but the POTUS declared that he would not do that since Harry has suffered enough with his “terrible” wife, Meghan Markle.
