Brittany Mahomes was told to reportedly keep her distance from Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl.

Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift were never pictured together at Super Bowl 2025 despite being close friends, and now, it’s been revealed that Brittany was warned to “keep her distance” from the pop star, who was also booed by members of the audience at the stadium.

Despite the two having a “sweet friendship” that formed after Swift began dating Travis Kelce, Mahomes arrived at Caesars Superdome without her friend, decked out in a $73,000 necklace.

Brittany, who was also inundated with hate over a social media post, was never seen with her pal at the game though, which had some fans raising eyebrows over what could have possibly kept the two women apart.

Now, new reports have surfaced sharing that Mahomes was instructed to stay away from Swift during the game.

According to the Daily Mail, she was told to keep away from Swift’s suite as a precaution for what could have been seen as a ‘PR nightmare” due to President Donald Trump.

Sources tell the publication that Mahomes was told to stay away over concern that the President could potentially make controversial remarks while also attending the game.

Brittany kept her distance from Taylor because of Trump attending the game,” a source said. “She was instructed to do so.”

The separation was because the two women had been on opposite sides of the political spectrum during the 2024 election, with Brittany supporting Trump while Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris.

While the women were able to keep their political views out of their friendship though, it was stated that after Swift was surprisingly booed by the crowd, it wound up being the right call for Mahomes.
