Breaking News: Ana Navarro admits she doesn’t care about Meghan Markle during The View chat about women supporting women….. Check In

Some people like her, some people hate her, some people don’t care,” Navarro said, motioning toward herself amid a conversation about the importance of women supporting women.
Ana Navarro took audiences on a whirlwind journey in a Hot Topics discussion about women supporting other women on The View.
Joy Behar introduced a discussion Thursday morning about Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent response to a question about Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle “moving in on her territory as a lifestyle guru” via her new Netflix docuseries, as the 82-year-old summarized, with the comedian noting that Paltrow addressed the situation by noting that she sees women as friends, not foes.
Behar, who has long spoken about inequality on the stand-up comedy circuit when she started her career on stage, pointed out that women are “sticking together more than we used to” in the modern era.
What men get asked that?” Navarro added. “Someone’s always trying to pick catfights amongst women.”
Later, panelist Sara Haines said she gravitates toward women who don’t view themselves as competing with others for only one spot at a figurative table. “There are two types of women I’ve run into,” she said. “The ones that will shank you, and the ones that will lift you” to join them by pulling up a seat for you.
You know what’s amazing, though? What an influence on culture Meghan Markle has,” Navarro said at the end of the segment. “I feel like she gets discussed all the time. Some people like her, some people hate her, some people don’t care,” she said, looking toward the camera while motioning toward herself to suggest that she, in fact, doesn’t have much interest in focusing on Markle.
Behar ended the Hot Topic by observing that there’s “something about her that triggers people,” and suggested that it might be internal jealousy because, “we all wanted to marry a prince. So everyone is jealous of her, is that it? Ana’s not, right?”
The camera then cut to Navarro, who silently shook her head back and forth before the show went to a commercial break.
Another Meghan — of the McCain variety — has spoken out against her former cohosts at The View, even going as far as to call the current panel “crazy old people” who bully and abuse her, in her own words. (EW reached out to a representative for the program for comment at the time.)
