Breaking: Michelle Obama Revealed She and Barack Disagree on This Nighttime Routine….Read More

He just doesn’t understand,” she told podcast host Kylie Kelce while talking about her marriage.
Even after over three decades of marriage, Michelle and Barack Obama still don’t agree when it comes to their nightly routine. During a surprise appearance on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, Michelle shared rare insight into her relationship with Barack – aka the 44th president of the United States – while revealing how the longtime couple have just agreed to disagree when it comes to their bedtime preferences.
In a sneak preview of the episode, which officially drops on March 20, the Becoming writer got candid about overcoming some sleeping schedule differences with Barack during their 31-year marriage
My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn’t understand,” she told Kelce in the clip, arguing that “bedtime is the best time of the day.”
Michelle made a compelling case for being an early bird, telling Kelce she loves “the idea of getting into some good sheets at night when it’s cool.” However, she said she taps into her inner night owl whenever she and Barack are entertaining and have guests over.
If we have people in the house, I’m game, I’m there, I’m up, I’m in it. I’m laughing and talking,” she added. However, all bets are off once they’re done. “You know, the minute we finish up, I’m just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down,” she shared, saying that in an ideal world, bedtime would be “anytime after dinner.”
It’s not the first time the former first lady has pushed back on divorce rumors by making light of her and Barack’s differences. She recently opened up about the former president exhibiting one of her biggest pet peeves–tardiness–during an episode of “IMO” with her co-host and brother Craig Robinson.
“Barack, you know, he had to adjust to what on time was for me,” Michelle told Robinson, who joked that his brother-in-law’s penchant for lateness was an “island time” habit due to his Hawaiian childhood.
Michelle shared an example of Barack typically deciding to run to the bathroom “when it’s time to leave.” She quipped, “I was like, ‘Dude, a 3 o’clock departure means you’ve done all that,’ you know, it’s like, don’t start looking for your glasses at the 3 o’clock departure.”
However, the lawyer said that Barack had taken her feedback well and gotten better during their marriage. “He’s improved over 30 years of marriage, but that was a ‘you must adjust,'” she added.
